Gaya - Retired and Staying
PrairieSky Gaya is a beautiful black smoke tortie with white, with a long, substantial build and wonderfully unusual tortie markings, including the little crescent on her forehead. She produced two beautiful litters for GudrunSplace, passing along her strong type, lovely smoke and silver colouring, and sweet nature. Gaya is now happily retired from motherhood and breeding.
Anastasia - Retired and Placed
De La Pomponnette X’Tasie — “Anastasia” produced one litter for GudrunSplace. After carefully considering the health and development of her kittens, we decided that her contribution to our breeding programme would end there. She was retired with her own wellbeing, the welfare of future kittens, and the long-term health of the breed foremost in mind.
CH Jolie - Retired and Placed
PrairieSky Joy won TICA NW 2026 2nd Best Brown (Black) Classie Torbie/White Norwegian Forest Cat of the Year
Jolie produced one beautiful litter for GudrunSplace. When we decided to reduce the number of breeding cats in our cattery, Jolie was retired from breeding as part of that change.
Freyja - Retired and Staying
PrairieSky Freyja matured into a magnificent Head Queen and ran her queendom very well. Freyja is thoroughly enjoying her retirement in her forever home here at GudrunSplace.
Meri - Retired and Placed
Tordencat Meri is is a red mackerel tabby with white who gave us a single kitten named Orion. Meri’s name means "sea" in Finnish, and she has retired to be a ship's cat.
Grace - Retired and Placed
PrairieSky Grace produced one lovely litter for GudrunSplace. A beautiful, sweet-natured girl with an exceptional coat, she was retired as part of our decision to reduce the number of cats in our breeding programme.
Nur - Retired and Placed
PrairieSky Nur gave us many lovely kittens. Nur's gentle patience was central to her excellent mothering.
Bjørk - Retired and Placed
GudrunSplace Bjørk, kitten of Helios and Freyja, produced 2 beautiful litters with Snorri.

GudrunSplace Huigan produced one lovely litter and proved to be a gentle, devoted mother.

PrairieSky Clementine came to GudrunSplace one summer in need of a safe new beginning. A beautiful and sensitive girl, she found life within a breeding group difficult and never became comfortable enough to accept a mating. By the following spring, we had retired her from breeding so that her future could be shaped by security, gentleness, and her own needs.

Snorri - Retired and Placed
ItsaSteal Ace, our Snorri, contributed greatly to our breeding program, siring many beautiful and much-loved kittens. As part of an agreed breeding arrangement, Snorri also spent time in Edmonton, where he sired two litters before returning to GudrunSplace. These planned collaborations contributed to his legacy as a sire.
When the time ca

When the time came, Snorri was retired in accordance with our commitment to the long-term health of the breed.
Helios - Retired and Placed
VikingTails Helios is a cream mackerel tabby with a fabulously even temperament. Helios sired many excellent kittens, including Supreme Grand Champion Alter Quinn Fyrste.
Emhyr - Retired and Placed
Russmania's Emhyr came to GudrunSplace as a prospective stud. When he was diagnosed with hip dysplasia, we made the responsible decision to retire him from our breeding program. Although this changed the future originally imagined for him, Emhyr'’s comfort and long-term wellbeing had to come first.
Luke - Retired and Placed
Gallifrey's Luke Hobbs came to GudrunSplace through a shared stud arrangement when his previous home was no longer able to keep him. He remained with us for approximately eight months, but serious conflict between Luke and Helios made the arrangement unsafe for both cats and humans. For everyone’s wellbeing, Luke was subsequently placed in a more suitable home.

Nissekat Hrafna-Flóki spent several months at GudrunSplace on a breeding agreement before returning to his owner. During that time he sired our earliest litters and played an important role in establishing our breeding program.
